FLYIN' FREE IN MENIFEE!!!!

My "big brother" and Me on his 25th Birthday

Truly I think I have really been flying free in Menifee, California for the past three weeks and oohhh baby I feel so free!!! Free from the stress I was facing at my other store, free from the torment of an unkept house, free from all normal responsibilites of day to day life.... it was just work... and work for 55-68 hours a week, for three weeks straight. Although it may sound like insanity to some, it was PERFECT for me! Opening a new store for the company can be overwhelming, stressful, and a sensory overload... but for me, this time unlike Vegas, it was a LIFESAVER in so many ways. This time, most of my three weeks there were spent training. One on one training, group training.... INTENSE training!!! In a way it was good for me to get back to the basics, to explain things step by step that I normally do without even thinking. It was good for me to remember why I do love my job, why this company is important to me, and it was so good for me to teach. Small groups and one and one time is what I love the most. Making an impact in someone's life or career... feeling like what I do is important is vital for me.
Unfortunately, I had such a good time that coming home was extrememly hard for me. It was hard adjusting back to being at home, being alone every night, facing the problems with my store that i had left behind, and getting back into the routine of a normal store (which for those who don't know is VERY DIFFERENT FROM A NEW STORE!!!). I don't even think that hard is a good way to describe it, because that would be a huge understatement. My first night shift back I almost walked out! I know it sounds a bit ridiculous but I was just too overwhelmed thinking of all the things that I would have to face. Fortunately, I managed to stick it through the week and had some very productive meetings. Things should be looking up. Other than my work life, which is my life mostly, I have been mulling over some huge decisions. Some of them include school, living situation, my position at work.... Still figuring it all out... I will write about it all later! Sorry its been a while, sometimes there is so much to say that I can't even sit down and type because I don't know where to start! Love to all.... miss you!
