Run (ok maybe walk) to Redemption..
If you are a regular here on my blog then you probably remember the post capturing my epic, but glorious fall into the gutter. Well ever since that day, I have been afraid to "get back on the horse" and take Rocky (the dog) out for a run. I have found other ways to exercise, mostly the gym, the treadmill rarely ever acts up. Well, only if there is some kind of user error.... but we just won't worry about that. Anyway, I closed last night, went to bed at 3am and woke up around 10:30 this morning to empty house. The sun was peaking through the clouds, relatively warm and just a gorgeous sunny morning. From the moment I woke up this morning I was ready to dominate. So after the dishes, some chores, a trip to target I was going to go to the gym... Then I started to think. It is such a glorious day who wants to spend it inside some stuffy, sweaty building. That is when it occurred to me, It is time for me and Rocky to make up. I came home stretched out while rocking out to some music, I grabbed my ipod and instantly Rocky already knew it was time. We started out good. He does so much better when it is just the two of us. He knows he can't act up! We were running having a good time and right when got to the bottom of this hill (weird I know there is a hill in Riverside) I was ready to sprint. I started to go for it but then was instantly jerked back. I guess Rocky hasn't been keeping up with his workout routine like I had the past month. So instead of running I jogged slowly literally pulling him up the hill. OH ROCKY!!! By the end though I am pretty sure we made up and are friends again... even if we didn't run there, we walked....... and sometimes walking is good enough! Ah It's spring, I love the sunshine, the birds chirping, the weather. It makes me happy! What a glorious day it is.

Hilarious. You are awesome. He loves you! Poor dog, we need to whip him into shape. Mckenna and I decided to walk him more often too. Glad he did NOT hurt you this time.
